Abhishek Kumaarr talks about resuming work amid the pandemic and how he eventually convinced himself to get back on sets.
For every actor, his/her maiden outing on screen is indeed very special. But, what has made the experience even more memorable for ‘Indiawaali Maa’ actor Abhishek Kumaarr is the fact that he is shooting under no ordinary circumstances. The industry has already suffered major setbacks due to COVID-19, and cast and crew members are slowly adapting themselves to the ‘new normal’.
Ask Abhishek how he is coping with the pandemic situation, and he says, “I was sceptical initially, but I realized that work should go on. So, I follow every safety precaution on the set; that’s the only way out of this situation. I also work on boosting my immunity with a healthy diet and regular workout.”
Elaborating on the safety precautions on the set, he says, “Our temperature and oxygen levels are checked regularly along with frequent sanitisation. Also, each team member adheres to all safety guidelines; be it maintaining social distancing or wearing masks when not in front of the camera. So, it’s teamwork, which is crucial at this juncture.”
While the apprehension is only obvious, it is all good as long as precautions are taken, isn’t it?
