We hear that the new season of Indian Idol, will hit the screens post IPL (Indian Premier League).
Commenting on the same, the programming head of the channel, Ajay Bhalwankar, said, “Yes, we have scheduled Indian Idol Juniors post the IPL. We had come with its previous season and it got a brilliant response, now there is tremendous pressure for coming back with season two. We hope it too does work superbly.â€
Coming to the judges of the show, we got in touch with Vishal Dadlani, who will be seen as the judge this time too.
When asked Vishal about getting associated with Indian Idol juniors again, he said, “Last season was a blast, as well as a learning experience. So, hopefully this season will be great fun, too!”
Being a popular composer and coming back to the screen after a long time, what kept Vishal busy all this while? He answered, “Shekhar and I did Bang Bang and Happy New Year, both time-intensive projects for us. Then we’ve been touring and recording non-stop. Of course, channels decide when their show happens, not me. If I can fit it into my schedule, I do. This was good timing.”
Lastly, will the viewers get to see Shekhar Ravjiani and Shreya Ghosal with you as the judges? He repiled, “This is a question for the channel. I’ve been especially asked not to talk about the panel.”
