I am happy and thankful to God and my fans: Pearl V Puri

We in conversation with actor Pearl V Puri who rose to fame with ‘Phir Bhi Na Maane..Badtameez Dil’.

The good looking and popular Pearl V Puri, who has gained immense popularity and appreciation as Abeer from Star Plus’ popular show ‘Phir Bhi Na Maane..Badtameez Dil’, enjoys a great fan following with his first show and feels quite happy and blessed about it.

In a candid conversation with us, Pearl shares more about his journey with the show, how he feels about fans’ affection towards him, his future plans and much more.

Pearl says, “My journey with the show has been very nice. The working environment has been very good and I get to learn a lot of new things. This was my first show and fans have showered a lot of love upon me. I don’t think I deserve to get so much love, but the way they shower their love on me, makes me more than happy.”

‘Badtameez Dil’ being Pearl’s debut show has really changed his life. He shared, “The show has really changed my life. I didn’t anticipate that people will love me so much and like my work. Initially, it was just like a work for me but later on, it became a responsibility for me because there are so many people who have expectations from me to entertain them. I try my best to entertain them by putting in my best effort in my work.”

Fans are quite disappointed with the abrupt ending of the show from Hotstar. Pearl says, “The show was loved by many, that’s why it was shifted to Hotstar. Shows come and go but none of them get a response like this. This was the first show, which was shifted to Hotstar because of the fan’s support and demand. The channel got millions of mails asking that they want the show back. It has given a boost to me. I am happy and thankful to God and all the fans for loving me so much because its only because of them, that I am here today. Fans make me feel that they are always there for me; I am not alone. Hopefully I will be back with something even better and will keep them entertained.” Â

Having played a Rockstar on the show, Pearl also holds an interest in music in real life and wants to do something in music. When we asked him about his future plans regarding music, he added, “I have written some of my own compositions, which I would like to release soon. If fans want me to sing, I will. I will try my best to release it very soon.”
