As we know, Colors is gearing up for the launch of its new show Vidya starring Udaan fame Meera Deosthale, Swaragini actor Namish Taneja and veteran actor Vaquar Shaikh in central roles. Produced by Mahesh Pandey, the show is a social drama based on the education system, set in a small village in Uttar Pradesh and as the name suggests, the story centers around a lady named Vidya, who is a teacher but struggles to teach English.
The makers recently dropped a few promos of their upcoming show featuring Meera as Vidya, while actor Namish Taneja who is playing the male lead has been missing from the promos. However, while exclusively talking to India Forums, Namish revealed some interesting details about his character and his entry in the show. “I’m playing a character named Vivek Vardhan Singh, a district magistrate who’ll teach everyone how to differentiate between right and wrong.”
“I wasn’t shown in the promos yet because my entry will happen after 10 episodes. It is to build interest among the audience about my character,” he further added.
Namish has been part of popular Television shows including Swaragini, Ikkyawann and Main Maayke Chali Jaungi among others.
