Gutthi walks the ramp for Mandira Bedi’s designer collection!

Funny man Sunil Grover who is known popularly as Gutthi walks the ramp for Mandira Bedi’s collection of elegant sarees.

Talented Mandira Bedi who was known for her stint in Colors’ much admired show 24 tele-series had recently organized a fashion show to showcase her designer collection of sarees.

We always get to see svelte models walking the ramp wearing the outfit of the designer but this fashion show was altogether a different one as for the first time funny man Sunil Grover who is seen as Gutthi in Comedy Nights with Kapil became the showstopper for this gala event. Mandira thought of doing something different and chose the most popular girl Gutthi who was seen donning the elegant saree and walking the ramp.

We got in touch with Mandira Bedi to know the idea behind making Gutthi aka Sunil as the show stopper and she says, “Gutthi is a very popular and much loved girl. Sunil has gained lots of popularity and love for his feminine character of Gutthi. So I thought of taking him to walk the ramp for my designed clothes. The theme of this fashion week was light and joyful and accordingly the showstoppers were finalized. My collection was based on Joy and love. As joy means happiness, fun so the better choice for the theme was none other than Gutthi who is best at it. So that is why I thought of taking Gutthi in this fashion show. As per the saying ‘there is always a first time for everything’ so quite happy to take him for this show.”
