Glad that makers didn’t want Ishqi to look unconventionally beautiful: Akshita Mudgal of Ishq Par Zor Nahi

Akshita Mudgal aka Ishqi of Sony TV show ‘Ishq Par Zor Nahi’ opens up on the look she was briefed for the role in the initial days.

Sony TV’s ‘Ishq Par Zor Nahi’ is loved by the viewers. The audiences are crushing on Ishqi and Ahaan’s chemistry portrayed by actors Akshita Mudgal and Param Singh. The show is produced by Gul Khan and Deepti Kalwani. Param Singh, Akshita Mudgal, Shagun Sharma, Rajat Verma, and Lakshya Handa form the primary cast.

Recently, the show made a lot of headlines because of it’s much awaited wedding sequence. Currently, the show revolves around Rhea trying to sabotage Ahaan and Ishqi’s relationship. In a candid chat with us, actress Akshita Mudgal revealed about the brief that she received for the look of the character while signing the show.

The actress said, “Due to lockdown, I had gained a little weight and was planning to shed them for the character. However, Deepti mam asked me not. She briefed me that Ishqi isn’t that unconventionally beautiful girl. She is gorgeous in her own little ways. Unlike other heroines, Ishqi didn’t require long and silky hair or perfect figure. It was her short hair and chubbiness that made her stand out from the rest. I was glad that the makers are breaking the stereotypical lead heroines myth by trying a different look which spoke volumes about how beauty lies in simplicity and being one’s self. The brief made me relate with Ishqi much more.”

Apart from Ishk Par Zor Nahin, Akshita also gained a lot appreciation for her stint in Sony SAB’s Bhakarwadi.
