A Freak Accident averted on the sets of ‘Yeh Un Dino Ki Baat Hai’!

And it was all because of lead actor Randeep Rai.

Sony TV’s Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai will soon treat its viewers to a grand and elaborate 90s era wedding – that of Naina’s (Ashi Singh) sister, Pooja. As per the traditional weddings, Naina’s family members will eagerly join in to lend a helping hand to get multiple arrangements in place for welcoming guests.

And while shooting for one of the sequences, lead actor Randeep Rai’s (Sameer) sheer presence of mind saved himself from hurting his foot.

It so happened that the boys along with Randeep, had to set up the wedding mandap. And when Randeep was lifting one of the poles, it slipped from his hands hurting him in the process.

Speaking about the incident Randeep said, “Everyone on the sets is super charged with enthusiasm, as we are shooting for a shaadi sequence. We are humming tracks from the 90s and dancing to musical hits which were always played during weddings. While shooting for a segment which required me to act like Salman Khan from his earlier movies and lift a heavy bamboo pole. While lifting the pole, I lost my grip and the rough surface bruised my palm.”

But that was not all. Randeep would have hurt his leg grievously had he not moved his foot in time. “Luckily, I quickly shifted my feet or it could have been a major mishap. The production crew quickly administered first-aid and we resumed the shoot shortly,” revealed Randeep.

Well in this case the saying “bade bade shehron mein aisi choti choti baatein hoti rehti hai” is very apt, isn’t it?
