In conversation with Vivian Dsena.
Looks are an important part of an actor’s life. Whether they shed a few kilos or put them on, celebrities are always in the news for any kind of transformation which they do to their body. Actor Vivian Dsena has been in the news for putting on weight, however, he doesn’t feel it’s fair for people to judge.
“It is my weight. When I lost it people did not comment on it, so why are they commenting when I am gaining it? In television, you don’t act with your weight you act with your face. As far as my weight is concerned, I am not made of plastic. Sometimes I will gain weight and sometimes I will lose; it is a life long process. I am working on it,” he says.
The actor explains that the weight gain is due to an injury. “I was busy, so I could not work out or play football. One day, I was playing football and I got injured in my shin, post that I could not even run. The only weight I could burn is by walking around. I was the first person to realize I was putting on weight so it is not like I am not looking after myself. I am recovering from my injury,” he says.
However, he is still considered as one of the sexiest actors on the small screen. “First of all, people have to get the fact that sexy does not mean six pack abs and a good physique. There are a lot of other things that add to a person’s persona. So you can gain weight and look sexy too, if we have that personality,” he adds.
