EXCLUSIVE: Riddhima Pandit and Sairaat fame Tanaji Galgunde join Krushna Abhishek’s The Drama Company

Remember Riddhima Pandit, the sexy- robot Bahu in TV Show ‘Bahu Hamari Rajnikant’? Well, Riddhima Pandit is all set to add glamour in Sony TV’s new show The Drama Company. Riddhima joins the gang of Krushna Abhishek and Sudesh and will be the glamour of the show, very much like how Sumona and Rochelle Rao does in Kapil’s show. Though very much like The Kapil Sharma Show, where Navjot Singh Siddhu sits on the grand chair this show will have now Mithun Chakraborty in the same place. There are also new face and stars to give him company.

Along with Krushna, Sudesh, Sunil Grover and Ali Asgar, The Drama Company’ would be a comeback for Riddhima after ‘Bahu Hamari Rajnikant’ went off air a few months back. It was her comedy in ‘Bahu Hamari Rajnikant’ that got her this comedy show. Along with ex-gang members from the Kapil Sharma show, ‘The Drama Company’ will have new faces as well. Among the new faces of the show, the main attraction of the show will be Tanaji Galgunde from the superhit Marathi film ‘Sairaat ‘.

Apparently when film ‘Sairaat’ Team came on The Kapil Sharma Show’ last year, the then creative Preeti and Neeti Simones offered Tanaji a role to work in the show that did not work out. So when Preeti and Neeti became producers with ‘The Drama Company’ they gave Tanaji the chance to make his TV debut. The spontaneous amateur actor has an excellent comic timing though being physically challenged. All those who have seen Sairaat can’t forget character Langaya and his humour .

Along with these names joining ‘the Drama company’ for the first time also will be husband and wife duo of Manoj and Seema Pahwa. The husband-wife pair is one of TV s oldest faces will come together on TV for first time. Seema was in Indian Television’s first daily soap ‘Hum Log’ in the character of Badki. Her husband Manoj Pahwa is known for his comedy roles in many films.

Among all these veterans adding humour in the comedy show will be another newbie that’s film actor Aru Verma. This roly-poly chubby actor is a face of many TV commercials. He has also done films like Befikre and 2 States. Aru will be making his TV debut with ‘The Drama Company’ in a new Avtaar.

Along with the new faces old faces from comedy shows like The Kapil Sharma Show, Comedy Circus, Comedy Nights Bachao will be part of this new show. Modelled in opera broadway style, ‘The Drama Company ‘will soon on air on Sony TV this July.
