This ex-Bigg Boss contestant has been roped in for ‘Peshwa Bajirao’!

He will play an antagonist in the show…

Known for his iconic performance as Shakuni in Mahabharat, talented actor Praneet Bhat has a line-up of varied offers.

We reported about, Praneet being a part of Swastik Productions’ upcoming project, ‘Porus’ where he will play the lead antagonist.

Now along with the aforementioned show, the actor has bagged a cameo in Sony TV’s historical drama ‘Peshwa Bajirao‘.

Praneet will play a goon on the lines of ‘Veerappan’. He will kidnap the young Baji (Rudra Soni). Threatened and attacked by the dacoit, Baji will be scared and how he fights his fears is the track.

The fightback will make the young boy stronger and confident.

The makers wanted a strong actor for this character and therefore decided to bring Praneet on board. Praneet has already shot for the show and will go on air soon.

Praneet confirmed the news to us and said, “I am excited to play this character. Essaying cameos gives artists a chance to work with many new people and makers. Also, it fills in the creative desire as we get to play different characters.”
