‘Ishqbaaaz‘s’ Bhavya talks about the Oberoi Bahu bond.
It’s a quoted myth that actresses can’t be friends and in the TV industry.
But there is one friendship that is growing stronger by the day. The Oberoi girls of Star Plus’ popular show Ishqbaaaz – Surbhi Chandna, Shrenu Parikh and Mansi Srivastava share a special bond with each other.
When Mansi was asked about the equation between the girls, she stated, “The equation is more than perfect. Generally, they say ‘Teen Tigada Kaam Bigada’ but here, three of us are definitely not ‘Kaam Bigada’. We are infact ‘Kaam’ amazing. We love to chill together when we get time on the set”.
“Never have I felt a complex or insecurity about the screen space. Because I have chosen to play this role of ‘ACP Bhavya’ and from the start, I knew how the role will progress. It’s opposite the youngest brother Rudra (Leenesh Mattoo) who is also the lead. I knew our story will take time to start as we started from scratch literally. But frankly speaking, there has not been a single day when I felt that the writers are not doing justice to me or my role. They have beautifully divided three couples in their own space and that it’s magical to watch them,”
Mansi stated when she was asked if she felt her role was not given as much importance as the others.
Most fights between actresses start when they start feeling jealous or insecure about each other. When Mansi was asked about the same, she continued “Yes that’s true, catfights jealousy or insecurity can happen on sets. But I think I am blessed as far as that is concerned. Also, I never got such vibes from anyone on Ishqbaaaz set. Everybody is so positive and happy, that you just can’t be cribbing about all these petty things. We three have never had such issues nor we will have. I am a very straight forward person. If I feel someone is having a problem with me, I actually go and confront them to clear misunderstandings. You will never see a fight starting from my side.”
Kudos Mansi!
