The spirit of festivity is in the air, as the magnificent festival of lights, Diwali is here. It brings along a lot of excitement and happiness as everybody look forward to celebrate this festival with their friends and family with lots of enthusiasm. To add more zeal to the festival spirit, we celebrate the day by sharing happiness in form of sweets and gifts among our loved ones.

On this auspicious occasion, we asked your favorite TV celebs- what they would like to gift someone this Diwali and also, what gift would they wish to receive from someone.. Read on to know more.

Karan Sharma (currently seen on Star Plus’ Mohi) : I want to gift air tickets to my friend Ravi (Ravi Bhatia), so that he can come to Mumbai and celebrate Diwali with us. Since, I am house hunting these days, I will ask him to gift me a nice 2-3 BHK flat as a return gift!

Ravi Bhatia (last seen on Zee TV’s Jodha Akbar) – I am currently shooting in Indonesia and I am going to miss my near and dear ones on Diwali. I wish my close friends would gift me a time capsule, so that I can come to India on Diwali eve in blink of an eye, and return back to Indonesia after that. Karan (Karan Sharma) are you listening?

I want to gift lots of love to my loved ones and also, to my enemies.

Roop Durgapal (last seen on Colors’ Balika Vadhu) – This Diwali I would like to take a part of Sonam Kapoor’s enviable wardrobe as a Diwali gift from her. I would like to gift my voice for a song, to some music director who is looking out for fresh voices as a Diwali gift.

Namish Taneja (currently seen on Colors’ Swarigini) – I wish someone would buy me Mercedes-Benz this Diwali. I would like to ask all my industry friends to fulfill my wish after reading this on India-Forums.

We have a tradition of buying gold items for our sisters during Diwali. So I have planned to gift a gold/diamond ring or something to my sister.

Pearl V Puri (currently seen on Hotstar’s Phir Bhi Na Maane..Badtameez Dil) – I would like to ask for a gift from all of my fans and followers- to protect every girl walking on the road, no matter known or unknown; just treat her like you would treat your sister or mother if anyone tries to boo or harass her. We will kill Raavan (Evil) of the society and make India a better place to live in. I love you all.

A gift that I want from a known personality is.. blessing from Mr. Amitabh Bachchan, as it has been my dream to receive a bouquet from Mr. Bachchan, with a letter saying “You have the potential to make it BIG!”

Sunayana Fozdar (currently seen on SAB TV’s Yam Hain Hum) – This Diwali, I would like to gift my dear friend Daljeet Kaur an idol of goddess Lakshmi, to give her more prosperity, success and strength, and also a piggy bank because she truly needs to save money. I keep telling her.. that only if, she could gift me her positivism and courage, that I truly admire in her.

Kanwar Dhillon (last seen on Sony TV’s Hum Hain Na) – I will give PM my contribution of ‘Swach Bharat’ by not littering around with fireworks. I would also ask him to look into the issue of always increasing and never ending taxes!
