The director of Pukaar, Deven Bhojani, praises Rannvijay

Upcoming Life OK show Pukaar- Call For The Hero has already made it to the news by casting VJ Rannvijay as the lead and with its different kind of storyline.

When we talked to the director Deven Bhojani, who is currently on cloud nine, busy directing his first action drama along with Namastey London famed director Vipul Amrutlal Shah, he was all praises for Rannvijay the lead of the show, who is essaying the role of Major Rajveer Shergill.

“Rannvijay has a huge fan following from the time of his adventure reality show Roadies on MTV. Now his fans are going gaga over his new look. He has never done any fiction show before on television and people are very excited to see him like this. He is indeed looking very handsome in the show as a soldier. The initial looks of the serial, which has already been revealed have received a positive response and his fans seem to be very excited”, added Deven.

Deven, who has earlier directed Sarabhai V/s Sarabhai and acted in various other comedy serials, is very excited about directing an action drama. “I have mostly worked in family dramas and comedy shows, but this is the first time I am working in any action packed drama. My previous shows were absolutely of different genres.”

“We have been shooting for this show like a film, it’s a large scale shoot. I can proudly say that this show is the first of its kind on Indian television. We just hope that audiences like the show”, added Deven.

The mini-series of twenty four episodes will have one hour episodes, and will have a huge star cast including Raj Babbar, Prashant Narayanan, Kiran Karmarkar, Vipin Sharma and Adah Sharma.
