Star Bharat’s popular show Pyaar Ke Paapad continues to amaze viewers with various twists and turns. Just like his show Aashay Mishra who plays the show’s lead Omkar has a few surprises up his sleeves as well. It was recently discovered that Aashay, along with his singing and acting prowess is a pretty talented basketball player as well.

Akshay’s basketball skills are so good that in his native Bilaspur he represented his state Chhattisgarh in national competitions. Aashay says, “I love playing basketball and always find a way to play the sport in my free time. I was in the third grade when I first picked up the ball and have been trying to perfect my game ever since.”

He further adds, “My proudest moment was when I was the youngest player to represent my school in the sixth grade whereas all my teammates were tenth graders. I went on to represent my state Chhattisgarh in national competitions but I had to eventually stop playing in the tenth grade to focus on my board exams. When I started acting, I played basketball in an ad shoot which was a really fun experience.”

Not only is Aashay a talented actor, singer, and dancer but he is also a budding sportsman. Who knows what other hidden talents he possesses?
