Devi

Devi is an upcoming Zee Tv serial, which is the second of the trilogy ‘super hero’ series. This series is produced by Esselvision Productions, with Nilanjana Purkyasstha creatively heading the team. The serial features Shakti Mohan and Indraneil Sengupta in lead roles.

Plot/Story

Devi is based on super power of women. The whole story is based on a women named Devi and her amazing super power. As per the reports, Indraneil has been brought in to play the negative lead. Kamalika will be seen playing the guardian of the female protagonist, a lady who would be more or less like her mother.
Actors/Star Cast

Shakti Mohan of Dil Dostii Dance being in talks for the lead role of Devi. But now as per source Umang Jain, the popular ‘Cadbury’ commercial girl has been roped in to play the lead role instead. Umang has earlier played the role of Nina in the POGO series Sunaina. Umang said, “I am now busy shooting for a commercial. Yes, I was approached for the Zee TV show. But there is no clarity on it at the moment.”

After a long time popular actor Indraneil Sengupta will make his comback with this Zee TV’s upcoming series. The another actress Kamalika Guha Thakurta will also seen as guardian to the female lead in the show.

Schedule/Timings

Devi will kick-start post the culmination of Maharakshak Aaryan. The show is expected to launch in March.
