The young and good looking Rohan Gandotra is all excited as his show Everest is launching tonight on Star Plus. The Delhi guy who has been part of advertisements will be seen making his debut with the Ashutosh Gowarikar’s show and this is surely making him a lot nervous.

Shared Rohan, “Being part of such a grand scale project is of course an exciting moment for me, but I am more nervous about it as I want to see how people react to the show. I am really hoping that people like our show and give us a great response. We have really put in a lot of hard work and this is the time for it to bear results. This show will also give us an identity in the industry and I am looking forward to that.”

When asked about his role, the young gun quipped, “I play Akash Joshi, a simple guy who is journalist by profession. Due to some incidents in his life, he has been left severely depressed. And to overcome the sadness in his life, he joins the Everest mission even though he suffers from vertigo. The journey towards the Everest will show his multi layered character and also how he changes during the course of time.”

Talking about Ashutosh’s show, Rohan said, “This show is no less than the film. The way it has been conceived, written and shot will make for a unique experience on TV. The characters are real, no melodrama and a heartfelt connect will be present in the tale. I think I am lucky to have got a break like Everest.”

When told to give a reason for people to watch his show, the actor exclaimed, “It is one of a kind show and will keep viewers glued to the show. Everest has drama, action, love, hope and every emotion that one can relate to in a positive way.”

And finally what is Rohan’s Everest? “I really want to conquer the heart of the viewers and win their love. As one climbs a mountain, they reach various camp bases, we have completed half the way and now with the love of the audience, I am sure we will reach the peak.”
