With Eid just round the corner, TV shows will soon be brimming with happiness and celebrations. After Zee TV, it’s time for Colors to bring together artists from its different shows for Eid celebrations. And the center of festivity would be the channel’s show with Muslim background Beintehaa (Fortune Productions).
Titled Jashn-e-Eid, the event will be organised in the Abdullah family by Aaliya (Preetika Rao) and Zain (Harshad Arora) who would want to spread some smiles in the family. With Usmaan (Naved Aslam) coming back home in a better condition post his accident, the couple will decide on giving the family a surprise on Eid.
And joining in the revelry will be actors of various Colors’ shows namely Simar (Deepika Samson) and Mataji (Jayati Bhatia) from Sasural Simar Ka, Nani (Pratima Kazmi) from Uttaran, Ganga (Sargum Mehta) from Balika Vadhu and Mohini (Ananya Khare) from Rangrasiya.
Simar and Ganga will be shown to be close friends of Aaliya who will be there by her side as she would struggle to overcome her troubles. On the other hand, Simar who has been facing quite a lot of crisis in her personal life, will be pepped up by Aaliya and Ganga. The trio will also present a dance performance on Kajra mohabbat wala.
And to add up the drama quotient, the cook appointed by Aaliya for the celebration will add poison in the sevai for the guests. And unfortunately Aaliya will be blamed for the same.
You will have to wait to know what would happen next, but here’s another update on the event.
Superstar Akshay Kumar will be seen promoting his film Entertainment in the extravaganza along with co-star Tamannah and the dog. They would also be seen shaking a leg on their film’s song.
We buzzed producer of Beintehaa, Farhan Salaruddin who confirmed the same and added, “It was a three day affair and we are wrapping up shoots today. It was a special moment with so many actors of Colors coming together to join our show’s celebrations. Also with Akshay and Tamannah joining in, the entertainment quotient just went up higher.”
Jash-e-Eid will be aired on 28 July.
