CID, the long-running cop series on Sony TV, produced by Fireworks Productions has always entertained the masses with interesting plots and daring action and stunt sequences.
In an effort to keep the enthusiasm of viewers on a higher level, the unit of CID recently shot two exceptional stunt and action sequences that will simply shock the audience when on air.
Well, the sequences were given a realistic feel by shooting them in real locations.
An upcoming episode of CID will see a sequence wherein the CID team will get the information of a particular criminal boarding a train. Hence, the CID team will also take the same train in disguise in order to nab the criminal. For this particular episode, the team shot for the episode in an actual train in Mumbai.
Another episodic will engage the audience with an aeroplane – dog fight sequence. This particular scene will see a plane following a jeep travelling on the road. Eventually, the scene will have the mighty officer Daya (Dayanand Shetty) jumping from the plane to the jeep to catch the criminal. This sequence was shot in Gujarat, wherein a two-seater plane was hired to shoot the sequence.
We tried calling up Shivaji Satam as well as Daya for more information on the same, but we could not get through to them.
The sequence with the plane will be aired on 24 April while the train episodes will feature on 1 and 2 May.
