The leading lady of the show, Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia opened up on how things will change in the post lockdown era when it comes to shooting and how actors will also have to do their own makeup among other things.
Only yesterday, we reported about how actor Avinesh Rekhi told everyone about how the shoot of Choti Sardarni will probably be starting around 15th June taking into account the guidelines stated by the government.
And now, the leading lady of the show, Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia opened up on how things will change in the post lockdown era when it comes to shooting and how actors will also have to do their own makeup among other things.
In a recent interview with SpotboyE, Kaur Ahluwalia opened up on the same. When asked about if she is scared of shooting amidst the pandemic, she said, “I have mixed emotions as every day is going to feel like a battle as there is always a sense of realisation that at the end of the day, this virus is here to stay and there is no vaccination until now. But as we all know that life cannot stop but it’s also a fact now that life will not be normal. So, a constant stress will always be on the mind, not only about our health but others also.
Especially for actors as we can’t wear the mask, gloves or shields constantly. It’s scary but by the end of the day, we have to work and so I am just trying to embrace it with a positive note. We are artistes and with our performances we can uplift others’ moods who are suffering.”
When asked about allowing a makeup artist to do the makeup, she said, “All the actors will try to do their own makeup though there will be a makeup artist on the sets to guide. Even if it wouldn’t be included in the guidelines we would have preferred to do our own makeup. Still their availability is must because any assistance we need or any products which we don’t have, they can help us. It’s not like we all know very well to do our own makeup so we will also be figuring it all out. Girls will still manage but I guess it will be challenging for the boys. But can’t complain as we all are evolving as per the circumstances.”
