Ramzan Eid is a festival of happiness and love. On this auspicious occasion we greet and meet loved ones. Television stars hardly get time to meet their family members as they are busy with their hectic shooting schedules and also they stay far away from their hometown. Popular actor Waseem Mushtaq who essays the role of Akshat in Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya is celebrating this Eid with his family members in Kashmir.
Waseem is ecstatic to celebrate Eid with his family. When asked about the celebration, he says, “I am super excited to celebrate Eid as I am celebrating it with my parents in Kashmir. I am happy because I am here in Kashmir after two years. There is a big party at my house as this is my son Rayan’s first Eid so me, Ayessha my wife and family members are celebrating it in a grand way. I am wearing Kurta Pyjama after a long time.”
He further says, “I am in Kashimir after a long time and my happiness knew no bounds. I am going to spend five days here with my family and friends, day after tomorrow there will be a dawaat (feast) and all my friends, relatives will be present to make the occasion special. This dawaat is for my son Rayan as it is his first Eid.”
So how did Waseem manage to get an off from work? He avers, “I forced the production house people to give me offs and kabhi Kabhi hum thodi seniority dikha dete hai (laughs). When I will reach Mumbai on 3rd I will directly visit on the sets.”
What difficulty he faced while shooting as he was keeping Rozas for a month? “Well, I got used to it after a couple of Rozas. I think shooting outdoor was more difficult. Recently I shot for action sequence and it was the most difficult day for me as there was fire and I was running all over the sets. During Ramzan I get up at 4 am have Sehri and sleep after prayers till 7 am and if I am shooting then I get ready and then I spend entire day on the sets. Iftaari in the evening is fun time for all of us.”
Waseem concludes saying, “It is a beautiful festival to celebrate the end of Ramadaan and it is a day full of happiness. You get to see happy faces all around.”
