Zee TV’s popular show, ‘Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani‘ breathed a fresh life recently when the show received an extension of a few more months. It was earlier decided that the show will go off-air on 28th April 2017 but the channel decided to give the show an extension and hence new developments are being introduced in the show.

The show recently went through a change, where a new season was introduced, thus revamping the characters of Raja (Sartaj Gill) and Rani (Eisha Singh) to be presented in a different way.

And now, in an attempt to make the most of the extension, the show is all set to welcome a NEW entry.

Yes. Actress, Nidhi Uttam, best known for her role in ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ and last seen in ‘Dil Bole Oberoi’ will be entering the show in a pivotal role.

She will be entering the show as Saakshi, Raja’s sister, where the show will be portraying a flashback scene how Raja’s parents had to face the wrath of Rani’s mom, Suminda. She would have infact left them homeless and poor too.

After being bankrupt, at once instance, Saakshi, who will be set to get married will face the tragedy of her marriage getting called off and she will lose her mental balance where she keeps waiting for her groom to arrive every time wearing a bridal outfit.
