#BREAKING: Fight on the sets of Star Plus’ Saath Nibhana Saathiya!

A SPAT between one of the leads and the creative of the show took place recently.

Differences of opinion between the actors or the directors on the sets of our daily shows is a very common thing. But when we heard of a spat between a lead actor of Star Plus’ Saath Nibhana Saathiya and a creative, it quite shocked us because the show’s cast and crew is one big family and something like this never happened before.

It so happened that there was a fight sequence between a few goons and Jaggi, played by Mohammad Nazim. Jaggi and Gopi (Devoleena Bhattacharjee) are going somewhere and Gopi needs water. Jaggi gets down to get water when he spots Ahem’s killers. He runs after them in a bid to catch them, but the goons beat him up.

Mohammad Nazim however, refused to do the above scene. According to him, as he was the hero of the show, he did not want to be beaten up but instead, wanted to fight back the goons.

When the creative head explained to him the screenplay, even then the actor did not listen and the duo got into an argument. It escalated fast and the actor refused to shoot. It was after the intervention of Pawan Kumar (show producer Rashmi Sharma’s husband), that Mohammad Nazim resumed the shoot.

The screenplay was also altered a little bit to cater to the actor’s demands. When we contacted the actor, he denied any such development.
