Eka Kapoor’s Chandrakanta is all set to go on-air soon and the wait has been a long one. With Madhurima Tuli playing Chandrakanta and Vishal Aaditya Singh playing Virendra Singh; it is all set to give tough competition to Kritika Kamra’s on-going Prem Ya Paheli? – Chandrakanta.
And with time passing by, the show has witnessed another major addition to its starcast.
According to a leading news daily, actor Shaad Randhawa who is best known for his work in Bollywood films like Aashiqui 2 and Ek Villain, is all set to make his television debut with this show.
Shaad will be playing the role of Prince Shivdutt in the show and has a special reason to pursue this character.
The actor mentioned on how playing this character would be like revisiting his childhood days for the actor has grown up watching the first adaptation of Chandrakanta.
He also added on how his negative characters have been appreciated so far and Shivdutt’s character has grey shades to it.
