Ganpati celebrations have started today and everyone has stories to tell and memories to recall from how they have always celebrated the festival. Aishwarya Khare who plays the role of Lakshmi in Zee TV’s Bhagya Lakshmi spoke about how this is her favourite festival and she has been following the tradition for almost a decade now.
Talking to us, she told us, “Ganesh Chaturthi is one of my all-time favourite festivals. It’s been almost 10 years since we have been welcoming Bappa at our home and during the festival, the atmosphere at home is really surreal. I cannot explain the amount of fun that we have. We not only offer our prayers to Bappa but also feast on some delicious food items. I still remember, when I was a kid, I always used to get excited looking at all the grand celebrations happening in Mumbai. That’s when my family decided to get Lord Ganesh home during Ganesh Utsav and though I am not in Bhopal right now, I always try and attend Bappa’s aarti through a video call.”
Well, Ganesh Chaturthi is truly one of the most cherished festivals after all as it reminds us about new beginnings and also is a great occasion to start any auspicious activity.
‘Bhagya Lakshmi’ is produced by Balaji Telefilms and has a stellar star cast including actors like Rohit Suchanti, Smita Bansal, Shivangi Jha, Aman Gandhi among others.
