Owing to the shoot relocating to a different city, several senior actors chose to not continue with the same as there has been major risks involved for their health.
Actor Arvind Vaidya has been an integral part of Anupamaa ever since it’s inception but has been absent from the show since lockdown rules were imposed in Maharashtra.
Owing to the shoot relocating to a different city, several senior actors chose to not continue with the same as there has been major risks involved for their health.
However, now the actor is all set to resume shoot and has already joined the team in Silvassa. Talking about it with ETimes TV, Vaidya said, “I was waiting to complete my two doses of vaccination. In April, when restrictions were imposed, there were many unit members who had tested positive for coronavirus along with my co-actors. I am a senior citizen and I felt it was important to follow safety protocols. So, I waited for the situation to improve. Now, cases have reduced in Maharashtra and doctors also advised that I can resume work now because I am completely vaccinated.”
He added, “I have worked for my entire life and was getting restless sitting at home. The production house is extremely patient with me and they agreed when I decided to take a break. Now, I feel, I should get back to work, so, along with my wife, I have relocated.”
He concluded, “I am having a dhamakedaar entry in the show. We are all working hard in these circumstances and am happy that the show has found a connect with viewers.”
