After playing the lead character in SAB TV’s Shrimaan Shrimati Phir Se, actor Samir Shah has bagged yet another project. The actor will join the cast of Sony TV’s mythological drama – Mere Sai.
According to a report, Samir has been roped for a crucial role. He’ll play a character named Mule Shastri and his part will have a significance in the upcoming track.
With Mere Sai, Samir will make his debut into the mythological genre. He has previously worked in comedy shows like Mrs Tendulkar and Tu Mere Agal Bagal. He played the lead role in the reboot of Shrimaan Shrimati. However, he was later replaced by actor Prasad Barve.
For the unversed, Shradha Aur Saburi: Mere Sai is based on the mythological tale of a devoted saint – Sai Baba, who became popular in Maharashtra due to his miraculous work. Devotees have also built a temple in his name in Shirdi, Nashik. Recently, the show made it to the headlines when the lead actor Abir Sufi was replaced by Tushar Dalvi.
