What seemed like an experimental show but made with a lot of heart and a good concept, Dadi Amma Dadi Amma Maan Jao on Star Plus is now all set to call it a wrap much sooner than you could have expected. The show that was launched back in late January is all set to call it a wrap in mid-May.
The show going off-air in this way is premature and even though it was a limited series, the original plan was to have more episodes. Actor Abhishek Singh, who plays the lead of the show opened up on the same in an interview with Iwmbuzz. He said, “At first when we started, we thought we had a huge hit on our hands based on good channel feedback and reviews. We were happy with the output. “But alas, it did not click. Maybe we could not face off with a big show like Choti Sardarni, or we did not get the much-needed word of mouth push.”
He added, “Had we got ratings, even our limited show too might have got a second lease of life like Yeh Jadu Hai Jinn Ka. There is a certain degree of disappointment. I am sure down the road people will realize that they missed out on a good show. All said and done; I enjoyed myself. You won’t get better makers like Rajshri.”
