Anuja Sathe, the pretty and composed Marathi Mulgi, has already created a foothold in the Marathi industry. Post her success in the regional industry, Anuja is all set to make her debut in Hindi GEC space with the upcoming Tamanna.
Anuja will be seen as an aspiring cricketer in the series, who tries to balance both her dreams and expectations of her family.
Anuja has gone through a rigorous training to prepare for her role of Dhara. Interestingly, she is a good player herself. Anuja shares, “Though I haven’t played cricket, like every other Indian I bleed blue. I took training to get into the skin of the character. But I have played badminton and used to swim.”
Talking about the role, Anuja quips, “Of course this is a big opportunity for me. This is my first step towards Hindi medium.”
We know how shows start with one concept, but lose its track mid way. Are you afraid that your show might meet the same fate?
“No, I don’t think so. Firstly, it’s a finite series so it has a definite start and end. Secondly, Saumya Joshi, our writer so clear about his thoughts that I don’t think he’ll lose track of it,” she said.
We wish you all the, luck Anuja.
